Cannonball Knights formed amidst the madness of 2020 by means of one fateful facebook post ( a call to arms ) if you will. The three founding members Stijn Krooshoop, Bjorn Bryhn and Ray-Al Hochman began toiling on their craft soon after meeting. Right away that electric magic was in the air and the boys could feel we had … chemistry.

 Cannonball Knights - CBK for short began playing our home town of Medicine Hat Alberta, gaining traction and winning over folks with a healthy balance of original tunes mixed in with some legendary covers done our way but something was missing.

CBK had the privilege one evening of sharing the stage with a local rising star by the name of Michael Morgan. We were so impressed we hired him but once more as an opening act before offering him a position with The Knights.

Cannonball Knights was born. 

CBK continues to win the crowd over with their blend of soulful, southern rock and groovy, driving beats. They have been described as a “funky Skynard” sort of outfit and with influences such as CCR, Lynard Skynard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Sheepdogs it all starts to make sense.
